    One very good reason why Amazon won’t flag self-published authors: The biggest advantage their new publishing imprint has over other publishers is they can cherry-pick the best self-published e-books (that they already sell in their Kindle store) and publish them in paper form.

    In my blog’s post The Rejection Window, I predicted in the near future the majority of authors will be likely to e-publish their manuscripts immediately after the traditional publishing industry’s first rejection. Amazon’s new publishing imprint will be one big reason why.
